In Balinese Dadong means grandmother

Our family's Dadong is about as rockin' as they get.

Here some examples of my mom (Dadong)'s fabulous batik design work...

She has a group of friends that come to Bali every year for a few months and then they all go off to their studio and create.

She usually comes home with her fingers and arms a different shade of purple each day :)
